overview
We provide the FM services to this large campus site comprising a High School and a community sports facility. These serve both the community and the school and include a 25m swimming pool, a 240 seated theatre and break out areas within the overall scheme.
key successes
We were heavily involved in the design of the building ensuring that the design was of the highest standards, both in terms of layout and material specification. Features include a modern dining facility, with breakout spaces along circulation routes, which replace traditional school corridors and instil a feeling of space within the building.
Energy and waste management is a key part of our working day, from emptying recycling bins though to checking classroom lights are turned off. We have implemented recycling initiatives across the school. To reduce the energy consumption of computers, the IT department has installed a programme which turns off every student's PC at 6pm every night.
